Kato N Gauge E6 Shinkansen Komachi 3 Basic Set 10-1566 Model Train

The Series E6 Shinkansen "Komachi" Bullet Train, formerly known as the "Super Komachi," began its service in 2013. In 2014, the timetable was revised, and the unified name "Komachi" was adopted for all trains operating under the Series E6. To accommodate the growing number of foreign passengers with large pieces of baggage, a conversion was made to the storage rooms in car numbers 13, 15, and 17, with part of the windows being removed.

The newest Shinkansen E6 model is designed in N scale, featuring a novel design and a crimson color paint scheme. It is equipped with a mechanism on the top car that allows it to be coupled with the E5 Shinkansen, just like the real trains. The minimum curve radius for this model is R282mm.

The model is equipped with a motor with flywheels, but it does not have traction tires, as this was taken into consideration for its coupling with the E5 Shinkansen. The Series E6/H5 Shinkansen "Hayabusa" can be coupled with this model.
